I am truly grateful that Kate Mantzke agreed to do an independent study with me so I can learn more about the tax world for a corporation, rather that always focusing on individuals. I am learning so much from her, and I try super hard to soak it all up like a sponge. I always enjoy our meeting times because I know I will learn a lot, and I also enjoy chatting with her and getting to know her on a more personal basis. I feel like I will be even more prepared for the working world after having this time with her.
I will always remember having this independent study with her, everything she taught me, and how much she cared. She is another professor I am so grateful to have had during my time at NIU.
