Professor Gomez-Vega has truly been an inspiration to me. Through her guidance, she has opened my eyes to a wide range of authors and books, particularly from diverse ethnic backgrounds, that I otherwise wouldn’t have encountered.
She is very dedicated and has gone above and beyond to help and mentor me, making a profound impact on my academic journey. Additionally, she continues to mentor and encourage me outside the classroom. Because she is so passionate about the art, she is willing to help me become a better writer.
