Congratulations to NIU’s 2024 Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award winners!
This award, presented by the Center of Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL), recognizes outstanding graduate teaching assistants for their impactful contributions to NIU’s teaching mission.
“Our graduate teaching assistants are critical members of our teaching staff here at NIU,” said Stephanie Richter, director of Teaching Excellence and Support for CITL. “They work closely with undergraduate students and are important in their learning experience. Our graduate teaching assistants do amazing, innovative things in their classrooms and in support of faculty members, and we are excited to celebrate them with this award.”
This year’s winners are:
- Diana Holland, School of Interdisciplinary Health Professions in the College of Health and Human Sciences
- Kassandra Kavanaugh, Department of Counseling and Higher Education in the College of Education
- Jordan Pennington, Department of English in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
- Madeleine Stucky, Center for Nonprofit and NGO Studies in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
