Congratulations to NIU’s faculty cohort who completed the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) Effective Teaching Framework for Higher Education course!
NIU’s Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning hosted a pinning ceremony this May to honor these faculty members, who are now certified in the ACUE Effective Teaching Practice Framework. The ceremony also highlighted the faculty members’ dedication to teaching excellence.
By implementing research-based approaches, the university aims to enhance student engagement and promote deeper learning, aligning with their mission to foster student success through inclusive teaching practices.
As part of NIU’s commitment to pursue innovative pedagogy, faculty members participate in the ACUE course to learn about and implement research-based approaches to foster student engagement and deeper learning.
