Dr. Nathan Krislock has been central to my progress and success in the M.S. Mathematics program. He helped me move from a vague interest in numerical optimization and finance to a clear, workable thesis topic, and then guided me step by step through the technical and practical challenges. His feedback on my drafts and code was always detailed and actionable, which sharpened my mathematical thinking, improved the quality of my writing and pushed me to meet a higher standard. He was also patient when results were not working, helping me troubleshoot algorithms instead of giving up on them.
