Dr. Chen has been my professor for over a year, and he has been a mentor to me for nearly as long. He’s taught me everything I know about clinical microbiology, immunology, molecular biology, and a great majority of my general lab skills. I have had the wonderful opportunity to be his lab assistant in the teaching labs as well as his research project at NIU.
I would like to thank Dr. Chen for always supporting and caring for his students, and for helping me earn a job at the hospital I’m interning at. I wouldn’t be where I am without Dr. Chen.
