Provost Fellow program

Applications are due Friday, April 19 for Provost Fellow for Academic Affairs and Provost Fellow for Faculty Affairs opportunities.

This one-year program is designed for faculty members interested in exploring leadership and administrative roles. Provost Fellows will become more familiar with university-level decision-making and campuswide initiatives. The overall goal is to provide Fellows with a more expansive range of leadership experiences and for them to serve as a member of the Office of the Provost.

The appointment is for one year starting July 1, 2024, with the possibility of a one-year extension. Fellows receive one month of salary from July 1, 2024 through August 14, 2024 and a one-course release for each of the fall and spring semesters.

Any tenured member of the faculty appointed to the ranks of associate professor (or clinical associate) or professor (or clinical professor) is eligible. Fellows are chosen based on their interest and aptitude for academic leadership and are expected to commit 8-10 hours per week throughout the year.
