NIU provides students free access to test prep resources

Through a new statewide partnership, NIU students now have free access to Kaplan’s industry-leading test prep resources for graduate admissions exams, licensure and credentialing exams, and skills development courses.

“Prepare for Illinois’ Future Powered by Kaplan’s All Access License” provides NIU students with free access to more than 40 courses, equipping them to take required exams such as the GRE, GMAT, MCAT, LSAT and many more.

The program, administered by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, also offers valuable courses to help students build essential skills for career success, at no cost. These educational tools will help prepare students to take the next step in their career journey after graduation.

Students may visit go.kaplan.com/illinois for more information about the program, including a complete list of available courses, registration details, FAQs and guidance on using these resources based on individual goals.

Students will select NIU from the list of universities shown on the website, then create a free account using their NIU email address to access Kaplan’s expert guidance and comprehensive materials. Available course options will vary depending on a student’s degree level.

“Whether it’s graduate school, a professional license or certification or developing new skills to advance careers, this program will help students succeed and pursue their dreams,” Alicia Schatteman, vice provost for Academic Affairs said. “We are thrilled to be able to offer this to all current NIU students and encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity.”
