Dr. G was great to have as a first-year student. Class time was spent on lectures, partner or group activities, discussion, guest speakers, field trips, etc. I learned a lot about the history of Student Affairs. Dr. G was supportive, approachable and an excellent communicator. I felt the HESA professors were really supportive, and it made me feel that completing a degree was very possible.
